JOIN US FOR THE TUCSON BIG I VOLUNTEER DAY 2026!

We need volunteers to help in the Produce & Sorting Warehouse sorting and bagging items for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. These items will then be distributed across Southern Arizona for those in need!
Make it a team building event and invite your office to participate.
Let’s get competitive with your fellow agencies!

8:00AM Gather at Community Food Bank Lobby to Check In
8:30-11:30AM Produce & Sorting Warehouse Shift
12:00-1:00PM Lunch at Rudy’s
(Lunch Complimentary for all Volunteers.)

Check in:  Meet in the lobby, make yourself a name tag, and sign in on one of our Volunteer Kiosk. Our group will gather and a Front Desk Team will direct us to production.

Dress code: Don’t wear tank tops, crop tops, short shorts or sandals/flip flops when volunteering–all shirts must have sleeves and must cover armpits, abdomen, chest and no politically affiliated Clothing.  All shoes must be closed-toe and heel shoes. Failure to follow dress code may result in dismissal from the volunteer activity. Bring your own work gloves if you would like for your shift!     

Warehouse Safety Rules: Please follow these safety rules to have a great volunteer experience! 

• No cell phones, radios, iPods or headphones in the warehouse
• Please follow the dress code above (closed-toe shoes, shirt with sleeves) 
• No eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum in the warehouse 

Warehouse tasks may require you to stand for long periods of time, lift approximately 25 pounds.
