Certified Insurance Service Representative Designation Program An inspiring professional faculty, nine ONE-DAY courses to choose from, a curriculum that's tailored to Arizona--all these benefits make the CISR Program a truly superior education opportunity.
To earn the CISR designation, you must complete any five of the nine courses and pass the five exams within three years.
All CISR courses are approved for 7 hours of continuing education credit in Arizona and are available in the classroom and online.
An optional online exam can be taken at the end of each in classroom seminar or webinar for those seeking the designation.

CISR Eligibility Everyone in the insurance field is welcome to attend the CISR Courses. CISR Update Options Once you attain the CISR designation and experience the career fulfillment that comes along with it, you will want to make sure your knowledge and expertise stay up to date. A commitment to annual continuing education makes that possible. To maintain the CISR designation, you are required to complete one of the following skills-enriching courses every year.

- Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) Institute - Update counts 2 years if you pay CISR dues to the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance
- Any of the nine Certified Insurance Service Representative Seminars
- Certified School Risk Manager Seminars (ONLINE only)
Online options available and listed at www.riskeducation.org under CISR. | Registration Fees: Effective January 1, 2023, $199 per participant for each of the CISR in-person seminars, and live CISR webinars $170 per participant.
You may take any seminar in any sequence that you wish. To earn your CISR designation, you must complete and pass any combination of five examinations of the nine courses within three years of passing your first CISR exam.
Cancelation Policy: Full refund if written notification is received seven (7) business days prior to the seminar. Cancellations received after that date will incur a $25 non-transferable fee. No shows forfeit full registration fees. ITEC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event. ITEC is not responsible for airfare, lodging, or other related expenses including airline penalties incurred. No transferring of funds to a future seminar will be allowed. The IIABAZ will refund cancelled registrations, minus any applicable cancellation fees.
2025 Class Schedule: The COVID-19 (coronavirus) changed the educational landscape. As a result, the CISR classes will continue to be a mixture of mostly live webinars on the Zoom platform with a smaller selection of in-person seminars in Phoenix.
